For orders to South America and the Russian Federation, shipping may take more than 1 month due to transport and customs issues.

P.O. boxes

We recommend a physical address. High-value shipments require a signature on delivery, which isn't available for P.O. boxes.

Return Window

30 days from the date your order is delivered.

Eligibility

To qualify for a return, your item must be:

  • In all original packaging (box, pouch, material card)
  • Accompanied by your order confirmation or packing slip

How to Return

  1. Email support@jadetao.co with your order number and the item you'd like to return.
  2. We'll send you a prepaid return label within 2-5 business day.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging. Use the outer shipping box — not just the jewelry box.
  4. Drop it off at the carrier location on your label.

Return Shipping

A $8 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

If your item arrived damaged or we made an error, return shipping is on us — both ways.

Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 7-15 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
  • Refunds go back to your original payment method.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable (except in cases of defective items or our error).

Exchanges

We don't offer direct exchanges. To switch to a different piece:

  1. Return your original item following the steps above.
  2. Place a new order for the piece you want.

This is faster for you — no waiting for the exchange to be processed.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are final sale:

  • Engraved or custom pieces
  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
  • Gift cards
  • Items marked "Final Sale" at purchase

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Email support@jadetao.co within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We'll replace it at no cost to you, including shipping both ways. This is not a return — it's us making it right.

Gifts

Gift returns are eligible for store credit only. Email us with the order number found on the packing slip. The original purchaser will not be notified.

Jade Tao pieces are made to be worn every day. We stand behind the workmanship.

2-Year Warranty

Every Jade Tao piece is covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of delivery.
What's Covered:
  • Chain or clasp breakage (not caused by external force)
  • Earring back failure
  • Stone setting loosening (not caused by impact)
  • Metal oxidation or discoloration (not caused by chemical exposure)
  • Manufacturing flaws in materials or finishing
What's Not Covered:
  • Normal wear and tear (surface scratches, patina development)
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Damage from improper care (exposure to chemicals, salt water, pools, hot tubs)
  • Damage caused by impact, dropping, or excessive force
  • Alterations or repairs performed by a third party
  • Items purchased from unauthorized resellers

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

  1. Email hello@jadetao.co with:
    • Your order number
    • Clear photos of the issue
    • A brief description of what happened
  1. We'll review your claim within 5 business days.
  1. If approved, we'll send you a prepaid return label. Ship the piece back to us.
  1. We'll repair it and send it back — we cover shipping both ways.

Repair Options

If your claim is approved, we will, at our discretion:
  • Repair the piece
  • Replace it with the same item (if in stock)
  • Issue store credit for the original purchase price (if discontinued)

After the 2-Year Warranty

We offer paid repairs for any Jade Tao piece, even after the warranty expires. Email us with photos and we'll give you a repair quote. The piece is yours — we'll help you keep it that way.
